There are many advantages to freeze-drying food
There are many reasons to consider investing in a freeze-dryer. A freeze-dryer is an expensive machine, but it can be used for a variety of purposes. It can be used to preserve food, herbs, and flowers. Freeze-drying works by first freezing the food then removing all the water from it using a vacuum process. The frozen food is placed in a chamber where temperatures are lower than -40 degrees Fahrenheit.
How do freeze-dryers work?
When food is frozen, it forms ice crystals. These crystals cause the food to expand and become watery. The water can then be removed from the food by removing the air from around it. This removes any moisture that may have been in the food. The food is then dried to remove any remaining moisture.
